Artemis Fowl fangirling

I haven't felt this kind of book hype since I got Twilight for my birthday. XD

I LOVE ARTEMIS FOWL!!!

It all started in the school library where I discovered the first Artemis Fowl graphic novel. I flipped through the pages and thought "Huh, yeah the main character looks kinda slick and James Bond-y and kinda hot...I'll check it out, yeah. Oh wait, isn't Artemis a girl's name??? Ah whatever...he's good-looking."

Imagine my surprise when I found out that Artemis Fowl is TWELVE.
"Screw that, he's a genius."

After I read the graphic novel about five times in a row, I took it home and read it five more times. Then I decided to look for the book.

The book was really good (even better than Twilight and all its controversy) and as of now, I just finished the third book. I even went to go and buy the second graphic novel as soon as I found out one existed. It cost me a friggin $13+! But hey, it was worth it.

Expect some Artemis Fowl fanart up soon. I'm trying to CG-color my first piece. And since I like the graphic novel's drawing style, I'm trying to mimic it, so none of that 'moe anthropomorphisms' of the characters that I see all over dA.

I can't seem to read the books fast enough.

Hahaha! I never thought of it that way! I don't seem much similarities between the pairings though, other than the fact that the men share the same name xD
I might try drawing Minerva (since the graphic novel for The Lost Colony might take about 10 years to come out lol) but I'm still waiting to read The Time Paradox. It might contain more details on how Minerva looks like. Details like that don't come with the character's first appearance. I didn't even know Artemis's eyes were BLUE until the second book, i think.

Sorry, but Minnie only appears in Book 5. She isn't in 6... *sigh*
But Colfer said, that there will be more books about arty, only that he's now making a break so that the 7 book may appear in 3 years T_T
I'm still waiting for the film of "Airman", and they could film the Fowl's Universe to...
